Find the right position for you

Toss Community is hiring for many different roles! If you’ve ever wondered, “Could I join Toss Community too?” don’t hesitate. There are plenty of opportunities!

  1. Use filters like job category and employment types, or use the view by role feature to find the right position for you!

  2. Explore job openings at each affiliate driving innovation in diverse fields. We're hiring not only at Toss, but also at Toss Bank, Toss Payments, Toss Insurance, Toss Securities, and Toss CX, where we are working together to reshape the future of finance. You can apply to multiple affiliates at once for positions you’re interested in!

Apply to Toss

Once you’ve chosen the role where you want to grow your career at Toss Community, it’s time to write your application. To focus on your skills, Toss Community accepts free-form applications. Use your resume to freely share anything that highlights your strengths. Does writing all this feel a bit overwhelming? Don’t worry—we’ll help you through it.

Check before filling out the application.

  • Your resume helps us understand your skills and growth potential, so feel free to write it in your own style. Instead of simply listing everything you’ve done, focus on the impact you had and what you learned from each experience. It’s also fine to include times you failed—if you tried to solve the problem or made improvements, that’s something we find very compelling.
  • For development roles, please make sure to list your tech stack on your resume so we can assess your technical skills!
  • Please keep in mind that sensitive personal information like your resident registration number, home address, or current salary is not required in your resume.
  • If your resume is written in Hangul or Microsoft Word format, please convert it to PDF before submitting, to avoid font issues or formatting errors.
  • Lastly, each job posting has a “how we recommend writing your resume” section. Following those guidelines will be even more helpful when you write yours.

You don’t need a resume. Choose the position you want, then build one using the sections Toss shows you.

We carefully review every application and share results as quickly as we can, so you don’t have to wait long. If we find a role that’s an even better fit than the one you applied for, a recruiter may give you a call to discuss it.

Take interview

Assignment / Phone interview

For some roles, we may schedule a phone interview or a short assignment before the main interview to get to know you better. Our recruiter will call you in advance so you can choose a date and time that works best for you.

For the pre-interview assignment stage, we prepare tasks like coding or SQL tests tailored to each role to understand your skills and experience. When this stage is used, we decide whether to invite you to a formal interview based on your phone interview or pre-interview assignment together with your application review, and we’ll let you know the result.

Check before your interview.

  • Scheduling: If you pass the resume review, the Toss Community team will call you and arrange an interview time that works for you. All interviews are conducted online via Google Meet or Zoom.
  • Interview process: We aim for 1:1 conversations whenever possible. Your interviewers will be the teammates you’ll work with most if you join us. For remote interviews, a recruiter will contact you beforehand to check your setup. We recommend joining from a quiet, private space and using earphones.
  • At Toss, interviews aren’t one-way evaluations, they’re conversations to see whether we can grow and innovate together. While we assess your skills, it’s just as important that you decide whether you want to join the Toss community! We’ll keep working to make every interview a meaningful part of your decision!

Role-specific interview

This interview is a chance to share the skills you’ve built so far, based on your resume, and talk through your experience together. The more具体 you are about what you’ve done and how your strengths can help the Toss Community, the better! Before we finish, you’ll also have time to ask questions—use it to clear up anything you’re curious about regarding Toss. If you’d like to learn how the role works day to day or who you’ll be working with, you can read role-specific interviews on Toss Feed while you prepare!

* Depending on the position, live coding, pre-assignment, or portfolio review may also be required.

Culture fit interview

This interview is a chance to see how well you and the Toss Community culture fit each other. Our interviewers are teammates who deeply understand Toss’s core values. Instead of asking one-sided questions just to “test” you, we’ll have an honest conversation about our culture. Use this time to see whether our way of working, our core values, and our culture feel right for you. We share resources like Toss introduction videos and Toss Feed articles to help you get ready. If the Toss Community culture resonates with you, think about which parts fit you best and how we could create strong momentum for each other’s growth.

Reference check, compensation discussion, and final decision

Thank you for your enthusiasm about joining the Toss community. If you pass the culture-fit interview, we’ll move on to reference checks and compensation discussions. Once everything is complete, we’ll share your final offer and coordinate your start date.

  • With your consent, we’ll proceed with the reference check process, which may take around one week to complete.
  • Once the reference check is complete, we will move on to discuss compensation based on the results.
  • We will request you to provide documentation needed to understand your current compensation.
  • We will discuss your compensation based on the documents you provided.
  • Once compensation discussion is done, we will coordinate your start date based on your and the team’s schedules.

If you’re disqualified under Toss Community rules or banking hiring regulations, your hiring may be canceled.

If you have any concerns before making your final decision, please don't hesitate to contact the recruiting team at any time. You can quickly address your questions in a relaxed setting through casual conversations with your future teammates, outside of a formal interview setting.

Welcome to the Toss Community!

We are excited to have you join us on this journey of innovation! As your start date approaches, here’s what you can expect!

  1. We’ll be sending you a list of equipment and supplies you can request to create an optimal work environment.
  2. On your first day, you’ll join an onboarding session (orientation + core values) to kick off your journey at Toss Community Over the next 3 weeks, we’ll help you settle in smoothly
  3. Your “Mate” — a trusted buddy for your first 3 months — is ready to support you After you join Toss, spend 1:1 time with your Mate to talk through any questions or challenges and grow together

Let's start this new journey together as colleagues.
See you soon.

Warm regards, Toss Recruiting Team
