Toss Credit Surpasses 450K Subscribers in Its First Year

Viva Republica, the operator of the financial super app “Toss,” announced that its personalized credit management service, Credit Subscription Service, has surpassed 450,000 cumulative subscribers in just one year since its launch.

Credit Subscription Service is a subscription-based service developed in partnership with NICE Information Service Co., Ltd. For a monthly fee of ₩1,900, users receive tailored credit improvement strategies based on their credit card use history and loan usage patterns.

Users who subscribed to Credit Subscription Service saw an average credit score increase of 22 points. The service is most popular among users in their 50s (28%), followed by those in their 40s (24%) and 30s (20%). In addition to credit management, Credit Subscription Service also offers financial fraud compensation, and there was a case where a user received a compensation of ₩10 million.

In addition to Credit Subscription Service, collaborating with KCB and NICE, Toss was the first in the industry to launch a free credit check service back in 2017. As of May 2025, 4.5 million users actively use Toss’s credit check services each month — meaning 1 in 6 Toss users use this service everyday.
